Back in Abbey Road starting tomorrow. Here's the interesting bit: Using one of the TG consoles and an 8 track headstack!! Hired in several late 60s drums kits too. Saturation anybody? We're recording a "Dirty Harry" type score but absolutely as authentically as possible. Small "big band" string and brass section with portaflex bass guitars {flat wounds} , PROPER jazz funk drums {not the modern take on things - you gotta flam those hats n snares together baby!!} etc etc blah blah... I'll try and remember to take pics and will upload some snippets for y'all to have a discerning listen !! Cant do the whole track though ...... boooo
