Thread Starter | Drum machine..."cool fake" sound.
i'm interested in finding a drum machine that has a "cool fake" vibe. in other words it does not by any stretch of the imagination sound like real drums but has a great rich drum machine sound of it's own. some of the radiohead records have these "cool fake" sounds. what are some cool ones? |

a lot of radiohead's synthetic sounds come from an analog modular synth (doepfer i think). if you really want to get into heavy patch design / programming, you might want to look in this direction. if you want a more straighforward (and certainly cheaper as well) solution: http://www.vermona.com/en/produkte/drm/drm1.html www.jomox.de (has a number of different machines) |
