How big improvement would S3X-H be over Proac Studio 100?

I have Proac Studio 100 with Adcom GFA-555. After reading good reviews about Adam Audio S3X-H I started thinking that maybe it's time for a change to something better, larger, more powerful and better translating. Do you think S3X-H will be a significant improvement to what I use now? Did you have a chance to compare the two?

I'd consider the amplifier as well. My ProAcs with my Adcom amp aren't putting out the low end I know is there and have heard with ProAcs on other amplifiers. Perhaps that upgrade is the one to be looking at; I'm researching it now myself.

Did you try the other amplifiers in your room or you heard them in different listening environements? I tested Crown DC300A and frequency response wise it was almost identical to Adcom. They both sound great. Adcom slightly better. The amount of low end is great and it sounds very linear (and so it looks on measurements).

I don't want to change the amp. I am trying to figure out whether it is good for me to get S3X-H.

I will repeat my question: Do you think Adam S3X-H will be a significant improvement over Proac Studio 100? Let's assume I'm talking about Proacs powered by the best possible amp.

I use both Proacs and Adam s3x'hs... I wouldn't mind working on either of them. Having said that, the new ADAMs are just about the best mixing monitors I've come across so far.

You guys did have your Adcoms modded right? If not, you shouldn't even think of ditching your proacs until you do. A stock Adcom amp has no real info below around 80hz.
