allen and heath 1221 or soundcraft

Hi. I have a old allen and heath 1221 (12 channels). Someone proposed me to buy a SOUNDCRAFT 200 SR (24 channels). What is better between those 2 for quality and sound, eq, etc...

Thanks a lot to help me.

the 1221 was definitely not the most desirable A and H piece. I would thing the Soundcraft would be a better bet.
