Thread Starter | Anybody know any good Wurlitzer repair places?
SSIA, really...
I've got a 200a electric piano that is in need of general tuning and fixing of note volume discrepancies (prob reed replacement). with a 9-day-old newborn in my house , my time isn't really my own right now so i can't sit down to attempt to do it myself (which i've done numerous times in the past).
so, anybody happen to know any good places that do these types of wurlitzer fixes? any help would be greatly appreciated.
i live in toronto but will ship it where it has to go, if necessary...
thanks,
-J

I read you live in Toronto, so you probably are not helped by this post....
But I'll post anyway.
Maybe you can send this man a mail with your question.
Maybe he can help you any further.
You can try "EP-service" in the Netherlands.
Just click the link: http://www.wurlitzer-epservice.nl/
You never know.
Succes with a beautiful instrument. (I recently bought a Wurlitzer which is perfectly tuned by this man...Marcel is his name).

Try HammondB3.net, which used to be Numerous Complaints Music in Atlanta...they are pretty well-known for thier restoration and repair work...

I've had plenty of Wurli and Rhodes service there. He's more into the Hammonds these days as you can see from the website, but I bet he still can do a mean Wurli. I had a few rare little mini 106P orange Wurlis rebuilt by them. Way cool! Richard is the boss, but there are usually a few other techs working there too.

Whoever you choose, make sure you get a written estimate that requires your written authorization for any charges above the quoted estimate....especially if you pay by the hour. I recently had an instrument repair bill go through the roof.... These guys may say - just send me your piano. tutt - tell them you want a written estimate before they do any work....

Yeah man.
Get on the good foot. Chris Caroll is the 'da man.
There's NO good reason to not send it there if you can hang with shipping it.

I have an old Farfisa organ I need tuned and repaired and I've always heard these are the go to guys for any organ or electric piano work. If found this info published online as recently as June:
(404) 351-4422
Contact Us at: complain@mindspring.com
I tried calling them and emailing them but the phone is disconnected and the emails bounce back. Anyone have any more recent contact info or know what's up with these guys?
