Thread Starter | battery 3 cell library not complete? (could someone with battery 3 compare thiers?)
when building a kit in battery 3 has anyone else run into this problem? i have found that my right click> cell libary> drums is incomplete and different from the regular kits could someone check this out and confirm that thiers has this problem (or doesnt) when i go to the 60s garage kit (under production kits) i see a snare metal, snare wood, and snare brush. but when i go to the cell library, as if im building my own kit right click on cell> cell library> snare drums> acoustic> "snare (60s garage)" is what i find. there is no sample in the 60s garage kit called "snare" and when i try and open it in a cell in the already existing 60s garage kit, it sounds like a tiny ping; and when i open it in my own custom kit it sounds like a snare drum. (yes i checked the tuning) also, when i try and find the hi hat open, and hi hat half open (which are part of the default 60s garage kit) using the right click> cell library method, they are nowhere to be found. how can i get these samples in my own custom kits? has anyone else ran into this problem using battery 3? is there something that i may have messed up or installed wrong? it seems kind of funny to me that if you want to build your own kit you cant use ALL the samples that come with the program.... i really wanted to use theese in my own kits, and it seems like the only way to do it is open 2 instances of battery 3, save one as my kit, and just use the 60s garage kit for those two hi hats that i wanted to build as part of my kit. theres has to be a way to do this without having to rewire 2 different battery kits at one time. this makes me wonder how limited the build your own kit really is. i usually never use the stock kits as i prefer to build my own, but this kinda has me thinking twice... anyone that owns battery 3, i would greatly appreciate if you went and looked at these kits and see if your battery has the same problems that mine does. many thanks in advance! |
