What gear do you regret selling ? Gear you were glad you sold ?

I totally regret having sold my Earthworks Sr-77. I miss that mic alot. Sold it to buy a Royer R-121 (which I love). Most surely will buy it again in the future.

Piece of Gear most happy to get rid of was a Focusrite ISA 220 Session Pak, not worth the price. Sold it and bought a Drawmer 1969 thumbsup , could not be happier.

How about you guys ?

Yeah, I sold my Triple Rec and am glad. I don't even know what we did with the money. I think it went to my band's bar tab. Big so what on that puppy.

I'll always regret selling my 1962 J-45. Also, my Firebird IV.

I regret selling my Amiga computor back in the summer of 1942. Rock solid.

Very happy indeed to have bought the RME Fireface 800 and selling off my old MOTU 2408 mk III.
But hey, doesn't the Mytek A/Ds seem very sexy?

I regret selling...

Music Man bass, second year of production

'74 Jazz bass

Both sales were to enable me to switch to a different bass 'cause I was a poor musician back in those days (the 80's).

Ouch Meriphew! A Jupiter 8. My biggest regret is selling my Roland Juno 60. At the time, I needed to sell it to buy an Ensoniq ESQ-1, which was the greatest thing in 1985. I'll probably pick up another Juno 60 someday for old times sake.

Having to sell $8,000 worth of P.A. equipment because your wife says that we need the money.

Getting rid of your wife so that you can finally afford that Tonelux rack!
Utterly priceless!

I'm still waiting for that day!

Regret: LinnDrum - sold it to get a Linn9000. The Linn9000 had lots of enhancements but it just didn't have the same vibe as the LinnDrum.

Glad: Kramer bass (possible a XKB-10) flying V style w/aluminum neck . It played nice, and had a unique sound, but no bottom end. Traded it plus cash for a 6 String PBC.
