Pets in the studio (pics)

Anyone have pics of their pets making themselves feel at home in your studio?

I'll catch these critters (my two cats) on my gear all the time!

Are there rules for your pets in studio? Do they serve as an inspiration or a sense of calming during stressful times?

Post away!

Jason

Nina sits on the back of my chair while I mix. Being a facist, she prefers military marches and death metal, but she will usually tolerate what I'm working on...

My cat (a.k.a. "Mr Pouffy Boy") is actually in a band called Cat-astroph. He's the drummer.

He's crazy about the Pussy cat dolls.

we used to have 2 kitties in our studio, but had to evict them due
to 1 (only 1 dammit!!!!) client who was allergic. they now
live at my house, so that sort-of worked out...but everyone
misses them. pets in the studio are good.

there was a studio in Dallas i used to work at that had a
cat. every morning before i'd start my session, i had
to carefully check my buss assignments on the console
'cause she'd walk across them during the night. i could
actually see where she stepped by the cluster of
busses she'd activate.

Haha...great thread....

I have 2 cats...they love to walk on my gear and walk around batting at various cables. I have a black cat that loves to sleep on anything black. Move and amp, and she's on it. It is pretty hilarious. Unfortunately I have not captured their behavior on film...

We have 2 cats in our rehearsal space...they bolt as soon as we start playing, but their cat boxes remind us they're there.

This one like to bug me while mixing.

BTW, she's almost 19 years old!

Here's our cat, Neko. He loves new gear as much as anyone on these boards. When he hears the sound of me cutting open a box or plastic rustling around, he runs toward it and is all up in that sh*t! A true slut.... thumbsup
