Focusrite Liquid Mix 16 - emulations

I've just ordered a Focusrite Liquid Mix 16, heard good things about it! Just wondering if anyone can advise me, I've just been having a look at the various emulations that you get with it. As I haven't had much experience working in a studio I'm not that familiar with hardware, so I don't know what comps/eqs are going to be best for certain jobs.

Can anyone tell me, which are good for vocals, drums, bass, mastering etc. I guess a lot of it will be trial an error, but if anyone has knowledge of this already and can share their experiences that would be really helpful.

That's really useful, thanks a lot for those links. Exactly what I was looking for just a brief description of each that should really help out. I can imagine it might be a little tricky to use at first, I have kind of sussed the best techniques for eq and compression to some extent so hopefully shouldn't be too tricky
