mini massive passive?

I was reading somewhere else about a new product from Manley being shown at NAMM. Something like a smaller version of their Massive Passive. Is this true? Anyone got some info? Seems like a neat concept.

is this, in fact, the first Manley-branded solid-state product? i wonder why they didn't brand it Langevin.

I think they ought to call it the Mini-Massive Active-Passive.

The Manley 16x2 mixer has ICs in it as well.

I was chatting with Hutch the other day and we might just move the Mini Massive into the Langevin stable. Gotta lay it out and get it ready for production first though... along with all those other new products...

Jules, is it labeled with Langevin or Manley. I was shocked when I read the website of Eve. Why label it with Langevin when the big brother is a Manley.

I know that it doesn't matter for the sound, but you know

I think that as a rule, Manley gear with no tubes is called Langevin.

Correct but if you do a search on here you will find that Eve Anna said it is going to be under the Langevin Stable.

Peace

Not that I've compared them, but instinctively, I think I'd prefer a solid-state MP on the mixbuss. Not that the MP is a drag to use, or anything.

I read that too, it's just because "Manley" is engraved in the frontpanel. Finalley it doesn't matter as long as it sounds fantastic, what it sure does

The model they showed at AES had knobs that were a little different than the one in the picture above (which, if I recall correctly, were on the ones they showed at AES two years ago). They're a little more rounded. Personally I prefer the older ones, although I wouldn't base a purchase decision on them...

Everything from their house does. If not one one project, then on another. I personally adore my preamps and EQs, and own both Langevin and Manley brands- they are THE SH*TE.
Much respect to EveAnna & Hutch !

Sorry guys I was slow updating the photo... and if we were shipping gobs of them already that would help too! The first few are dribbling out, and more after the new year. I think we're pretty much booked out for production for the rest of this year, on old products!

judging from this color scheme and the new manley website, i think EveAnna's gone color blind....
