by commercial nebula libraries i mean the ones done by 3rd party devs like alexb that you have to pay for. pretty sure even the free ones he does you have to use nebula commercial for. the only things you can use with nebula free are the crap libraries you get with it from acustica

the free ones he did work fine in neubla 3 free...
for some reason they didnt wanna come up before reinstalling.
i'm personally getting use to nebula... dont know if im gonna buy it quite yet but im considering it.
i've been told the commercial libraries are of a high quality than the free stuff and so far it sounds rather good... so i may just end up buying it though i have to many plugins already....
damn gearslutz... turned me into one from day one on this forum LOL

I'd search your C drive for "nebula" and see where the DLL is.

Usually it installs in usual VSTPlugins under the folder "Acustica" but I think the "nebula" search will turn it up, and go from there.

Unfortunately i have to get to bed, but will check back and see what's what.

To my ears, the free libraries are very useful, and sound great. Even the compressors, man they bring some spank into the mix.

I'm a madman with the makeup gain control though

Oh, and there's more free libraries here: Home :: nebula-programs.com

I recently purchased the full nebula core II upgrade and I have to say it has brought my mixing to a whole new level. Get involved in their forums and do your research on the libraries to see what will best fit your genre or production and you will be amazed. You will have to tweak the interface a bit to get optimal performance and there is some serious forum reading ahead but i can attest that it is well worth it. The Alexb stuff is simply pristine and people will never believe your mixing in the box. Make sure your computer is ready for battle and dive in! Nebula is the future for sure. Using a DAW like Reaper with a smaller footprint will also enhance your nebula experience btw...Enjoy

i would say get everything on offer,... not just the stuff for your genre/production.

there have been times when i've put a program on say a vocal and it was horrible, and i thought "damn, i'll never use that ever, wtf were they thinking?",... only to find that the same program sounded killer on kick, or hi-hat or bg vocals,.... you just never know, so grab it all.

the acustica forum has a page with all the free libraries around. its in the welcome forum i think.

and bounce!,.... if your pc cant handle it, bounce, trust me its worth the extra hassle,... besides, it also gives your ears a nice break
