Plugin Choices Sales End Soon!!

Hello, I recently purchased McDSP Project Studio, I already owned the full Native version of Revolver, I also upgraded analog channel to the full version. Anyways I'm thinking of upgrading ML4000 to full Native, but I also like Filterbank, and Compressorbank. Which of these 3 would you upgrade?

I really like ML4000, and would like to have access to the Multiband, and a fully featured singleband. I also really like the Filterbank eqs, but I've noticed that PSP is having a great sale on sQuad bundle. Compressorbank I generally use CB4 the most, which came with the Project Studio Bundle.

I think the ML4000 is at the top of my list, I'm wondering if I should go for Filterbank, or maybe forget it and turn my attention to PSP sQuad. I've been reading these threads that all digital eqs are the same, but I can definately hear a difference between Digidesin's EQIII and filterbank, not to mention IK's Pultec.

I don't know tell me what you think? What would you choose?

I was in the same dilema a month back choosing which eq bundle to purchase, but after extensive demoing not mentioning the great price I have decided to go with psp squad which I'll be getting this week.

eqs I demoed included;

fabfilter proq
softube passive active
waves v series and api
squad
stillwell 1973.

the ones I prefered were in order of preference;
squad
softube passive active
stilwell 1973

Have you used McDSP's Filterbank ever, if so how does it compare to sQuad?

Mcdsp Fliterbank has some of the best EQs You can use them in a lot of different ways. I usually prefer them for enhancing the sound, adding something here and there. If you are looking for EQs to fix problems they Fliterbank can do it but are probably not the best at that.

I would say they are best at enhancing sounds and using them for effects. They are EQs of their own, you can`t really compare them to any hardware or anything. Honestly I think Filterbank is the best set of plug ins that Mcdsp has developed, their Compressor bank is cool too but not as great at the job they did with Fliterbank.

Yeah I've been testing the sQuad, and Filterbank today, I don't know, Filterbank you definately have more control, but thats not always a good thing. sQuad has character, but so does the bank when pushed into saturation.

I love the ML4000. Killer plug-in. Filterbank on the other hand hasn't been in my plug-in folder for quite some time. It's pretty cool that it has so many flavors but there are other EQ's I would pick over it.

I don't know, I didn't have any problems, if your using credit card make sure that you give them the exact card holders address. I don't know what problem you are having, does it give you a message as to why your payment is not being accepted
