Phase relation w/ triggers

When using 2 sampled snares + top and bottom mics I think it's kinda hard to hear possible phase glitches, even in mono.

Q1: Are there any vsts that gives you graphical overview on the phase, post insert?
Q2: I have never understood if the cubase track pol switch affects pre or post inserts signal?
