Does the Cubase mixer go full screen?!

I am trying to get an answer to this..it won't maximise on my mac to fit the entire screen (like all other daw mixer windows) , it fits horizontally but not vertically.

Help a brother slut!, MC

No. It is limited to the three views (faders only, with inserts, with inputs)

Been using Cubase for a long time, and I have to agree with that the window structure they are using is not the best. As soon as you focus onto anything other than the main window, the main falls out of "maximized" mode.

And yes, the mixer cannot be maximized in the first place; it's a floating frame. You can drag its size to match your screensize vertically, but there is no such thing as 'maximizing' it.

Should be improved, Steinberg.

All the windows I need are set to "always on top". This is my personal workaround to the problem you described. And though I can easily live with this for years now the "minimizing" of the arrange windows is bothering me all the time

There are 3 mixers in Cubase. I can stack 2 of them fully expanded (fader+i/o+extension) or all three (1x fully expanded, 2x only fader).

Workspaces is your friend.
