25$ a pair! That is cheap! You're right, they're probably not amazing, but for that money surely worth a shot. If your room is small and untreated like mine (save from a few traps) expensive monitors are a waste of money anyway. Just make sure to listen to lots of finished recordings on your new speakers so you have some sense of comparison when you mix your own work. As long as you do this, you can probably do a fair job of mixing on just about any speakers. Cheers, Jim

well right now my room in untreated this is all I have DIY Portable Recording Studio I have a cheap 5.1 setup from wal-mart right now which sounds decent with movies, but not great with audio and I primarily use sony MDV-150 headphones right now to mix. So I figured it would be better. If anyone has any better ideas tell me. I would spend up to $100 if need be.
