Near Field Monitors

I'm looking at getting some near field monitors and have seen the Phil Jones Pure Sound 7001i. 7001i Studio Monitor | Phil Jones Pure Sound

Has anybody heard these?

nearfields don't get much use in mastering, you might want to try the other forums to get some good feedback.

Granted nearfields don't get much use in mastering but... Have you guys looked at the specs of those speakers?? I had never heard of this manufacturer. It's a bookshelf speaker design with a 6.5 inch woofer and yet it claims to develop a 25Hz - 60KHz +/-2dB frecuency response curve. That is either science fiction or complete nonsense (OR the most incredible bookshelf design ever created). They cost 12000$ too. Anyone have experience with them? I'd love to hear!

I'd love to hear! __________________ I much prefer working with a great song than with a million dollars worth of gear... A million dollars worth of gear is still a nice thing, though.
