Thread Starter | Shadow Hills Mono Gama 500 issues
I recently bought a BAE lunch box loaded with four SH Mono Gamas from a fellow GS board member. (Thanks again for the smooth transaction!) Anyway... the pres are great and I love the sonic variation within each channel with the different transformer options. I am having a few minor issues, however--that should be easy fixes--but I wanted to drop in here and get some advice from people who may know more than I do. One channel's Nickel setting is opposite in polarity relative to the others and its own steel and discrete settings. Is it as easy as opening this thing up and swapping some wires to fix it? Also, a different unit is stuck with its phantom power engaged regardless of the switch position. I'm guessing a faulty switch and another easy fix. My final observation is that the polarity switch does nothing in the discrete setting. I'm guessing this is normal and not problematic to all four of my channels!

I agree, just contact Peter. He's always been helpful with information and very quick with any repairs over the years in my experience. Great guy!
