SSL alpha channel or UA 710 for direct guitar ?

I need advice which preamp to choose
I’m gonna use it mainly to record direct electric guitar, so I can use Amplitube simulations.
And also record acoustic guitar with my M-audio Sputnik. My audio interface is TC Konnekt 8
So I wonder which one will give me better upgrade UA 710 trough my TC Konnekt converter or the SSL Alpha channel with the digital out .
Any opinion much appreciated.

For the AmpliTube stuff, I would say you can stick with the Hi-Z input on the TC. You'll get excellent results. Personally, the acoustic recording is the "trap" that will get you into the preamp upgrade path There are a ton of great suggestions for that, for preamp and mic selection. You can do very well with what you have there too but I'd put my attention to preamp/mic chain for the acoustic recording.
