| Number of unfinished songs You catch a nice progession of chords, melody, you think that it will be a hit, but you never finish it, looking for perfection... Sounds familiar? I've got about 150 unfinished songs.I am not telling you good songs... And you? |

| Lives for gear | It happens, right now i have bunch of unfinished songs... They will get finished one day, probably when the time is right.... Sometimes all i need to is to flesh it out with a drummer, or someone else.... |

| God me too ... I have to be TOTALLY in the mood for writing lyrics and that's once in a blue moon, so I have so many songs lying around with the gobbledygook lyrics that spew out of me when banging the vocal melody down.... Of course the problem is that I eventually get to actually LIKE my nonsense ramblings and it sounds a bit weird when I eventually get around to putting genuine lyrics on... I'm sure you've all experienced THAT one .... We may need a 'collaboration' thread..! ![]() |

| I've developed a very effective scheme where I just spend months and months before I get to the point of leaving a song unfinished. This greatly limits the number of unfinished songs I will have. You see, there's such a fine line between genius and not genius.

| Guess I'm a luxurious position: I have so many finished songs I don't have the time to record them all...that's also crap.... ![]() This used to be different though...endless loops and snippets laying around. Nothing with a head and a tail.
