Good VST instrument for blues/funk/reggae/jazz guitar?

Is there a good VST instrument out there that has good hollow body or semi hollow body guitar sounds? Looking for nice round smooth rich electric guitar tones and haven't really found a sample based VST that does a decent job of that yet.

I'd be very instrested in finding out some vst/au which would fit into this void too. Revitar, AAS guitar simulation etc... ? anyone have these?

Honestly, there aren't any really good ones for electric guitar. For acoustic, Musiclabs Realguitar 2L is decent. They also have one for electrics, but (as a guitar player) none of them have done what I'd like to hear.

Maybe Eric Persing over at Spectrasonics would take this one on. I'm sure that if anyone could pull it off, he could.

Jazz guitar VSTi

try Guitar bass and drum sample libraries for Kontakt - Pettinhouse

also Chris Hein Guitars - Sounds Online Virtual Instruments & Sample Libraries

I use Pettinhouse Warm Jazz and Chris Hein Jazz Guitar for live gigs.

i would use a real guitar for that, and nothing else, except maybe for reggae.

I make dub, and use some guitar plugins (realguitar 2, stringstudio), but i don't need to sound real, cause the dub i make is from the more spacey electronic species (halfway to dubstep often), not the traditional jamaican stuff.

What is it you need?

Found this doing a search for "reggae". I actually play reggae on a semi-hollow for a living. Literally.

My works are in my links below ~ but yeah, if you're interested, send me the riddim. If ya need like a skank, pick, and a lead track that may be do-able. Glad to at least try to help though lemme know if ya need
