Electribe!!

Hey guys, I am new to this website and new with electronic gear, I have been a guitarist for quite some time and would like to kind of switch over I guess you could say. What has really caught my eye is the Electribe series. As a beginner should I start off with the ESX? Or the EMX? Also I have thought about maybe going with es-1 and a microkorg.. What do you suggest.. I know its a pretty big generalization of the great pieces of machinery but what would I get the best buck out of these?
