Thread Starter | Elixir for bass? Hello, will the Buzz Elixir DI produce good results with passive electric bass, or will it require/prefer something in front such as radial passive etc? Sorry for the dumb question. |

| Um.... Do I have to use Elixir strings if I use an Elixir Preamp? I'm kidding, of course - the original question was about THE PREAMP NOT THE STRINGS  (regarding the Elixir - I've never used one myself but I love buzz gear and there are quite a few posts that I've read where people seem to love the DI!) |

| No DI necessary. The DI on the Elixir is great for bass. We use it and smile.
