Thread Starter | Is this bad for my cables? I have a small home studio. Over the last several weeks, I've been hanging my microphone cables over the top of a DIY acoustic panel (see photo) when I'm not using them. This has been really convenient for me - I no longer have to put them away in storage boxes, and I can grab them quickly off the top of the panel whenever I need them. But I began to wonder: Could I be damaging my cables by hanging them like this? The cables are, after all, straddling the panel in near-90 degree angles. What do you think?

| Don´t worry, as long as they just hang around and are not forced around these corners it´s all fine! Greetz Friedemann
