Transfer "Software" Ownership Not Hardware

Hello,

I have a copy of Pro Tools LE 8 collecting dust which is currently registered but now I have no use for it and I found a buyer for it. Would it be possible to transfer the software ownership to him? I ask this because I have downloaded the Transfer Ownership Form, but it seems it only apply for Hardware and not Software, hmmm any thoughts?

Thanks!

Well, LE software is part of the package you bought - and you can't sell it separately from the hardware.

However - it's just a serial number. So if you've registered the software on your digi login, you can just give him the serial and the login, and he can download it from there, and use the serial number to install it. he probably won't be eligible for support, but that's about it.

Although let's face it, it's almost not worth it - you must be making all of about $75 on the deal, since the official upgrade is only about $150.
