changing the transformers in a chameleon labs 7720

I was wondering if any body has changed the trannies in a ch 7720, and if made a real difference in the sound

im no expert on this comp, but i think THAT chips drive this comp, as it is an ssl style. you maybe able to add transformers, but not exchange them.
