DBX DDP...

I have a few of them and never really use them. I've been thinking about trying them on drums mostly toms but I want to see what everybody else likes.

It's great to get opinions and experience, but please don't NOT use them if nobody else likes them. Trust yourself, since it's mostly your opinion in the long run.

I've used the DDP a bit and liked it, in fact, I'm keeping an eye out for a steal on a used one just because. I've had good success with the split band on mixes, but that was before DAW's were practical. I would possibly still use 'em that way, though, because they sound pretty good for digital (they're no Quantum, but they're pretty decent). I'd definitely use 'em on snare and kick, maybe vocals.

There's someone else's opinion for you.
