Major releases w/Shure SM7, SM7a, SM7b on vocals or others.

After reading about the shure sm7 on here for several months and seeing all the big names being dropped I thought it would be cool to create a list of major releases using the sm7 particularly on vox, but other things would be cool too. If you mention something please put a link, interview, photo, etc as some sort of proof. Or if you happened to record that artist, thats good enough for me. I'll start w/the obvious. Edit: most of these I got from the other thread just like this one..... oops, but I just combined them together anyway. If you know of more add them!

1. Michael Jackson, Thriller
2. Brandon Boyd of Incubus, (YouTube - Brandon boyd (INCUBUS) a Capella)
3. Fran Drescher
4. Between the Buried and Me
5. Every Time I Die
6. Devin Townsend
7. Mastadon, Crack the Sky
8. Wilco, Sky Blue Sky
9. James Hetfield, Metallica
10. Tegan and Sara
11. Hawthorne Heights
12. Stevie Nicks
13. Death Cab for Cutie
14. Lifehouse
15. System of a Down
16. Bruce Springsteen
17. John Mayer
18. Kings of Leon
19. Neil Finn
20. Billy Corgan, Smashing Pumpkins
21. Los Lonely Boyz
22. AC/DC
23. Oasis
24. Billy Idol
25. Red Hot Chili Peppers

I believe a lot of the Beach Boys Pet Sounds-era stuff was done on Shure Dynamics of one sort or another....

wow, forfran drescher having such an annoying yet funny voice for tv, it was wierd hearing her sing so nicely.

also, i saw some clips of tom petty's wildflowers where he was singing on a 57 in the studio with rick rubin.

for me its even weirder because the song she chose to sing was written by a guy I know who is very indie and humble and won't listen to Fran Drescher's version of his song.

note the distinction between SM7 and SM57, detail-fans - I think there's 2 threads going on here!
