This is a really cool product but I think it's more for people who mix out of the box need a more convenient way to patch and chain. Me I do everything itb so I hope some day something like this will be released with a plugin to make the chains and save them in my daw. I think these days it makes more sense to have a nice way to route nice analogue equipment into your daw with a plugin maybe even stream the audio back to the plugin with usb, firewire or ethernet like Acces Virus did with the virus TI.
SSL I hope you guys are thinking of doing something like this for those who work itb :-)

I have a question.. How does it work with guitar pedals (like boss ds1 etc..)? I know it is possible to switch the I/O to -10 / +4, however does it adapt the impedance too like a reamp device?
