James was that the Lauten, Clarion FC-357? Trying to figure out where to buy that mic. Thanks once again for keeping us up to date on the latest gear. Wish I could have been there.

Thank you everyone that attended. I was great to see everyones reaction to each mic and each signal chain. I know there are endless possibilities and I hope each of you discovered a sound you want to explore further. We learn from you and your reactions and appreciate the opportunity. James, you and your team are just fantastic. It's always great to meet the really good people out there. Thanks for opening your doors and all the help. P.S. Lets see if dB is a few inches taller by next year. Perhaps Erik is feeding us something. |

thanks to everyone, particularly james, for hosting this event. i can't say how helpful it was to really try out all the gear with my singer, anji, singing into these different mics and mic pres to determine which combo was best for her. i wish that's the way trying out gear always was done. anji sounded great through all the lauten mics, but the clarion had a special something in the highs that was just what we were looking for. we'll be getting that for sure to use one our next project.
