| 2nd refs: MSP3's or keep my NS-10's? I think I've finally landed some mid/nearfield's that I can do all my mixing on with the Event SP-8's. The question now is whether to keep my NS-10's up as my 2nd reference pair, or to grab a pair of those cheap, Yamaha MSP3's. Anybody using 'em? I can't seem to audition the little MSP3's ANYWHERE. Nobody that I can find in NYC has them up for listening (probably 'cause they're so cheap). I've read some reviews of them that make be think they'd be a nice complement to the SP-8's, though. MSP3's: take up less space, finally get rid of ALL my speaker wire (and that hot amp), might be a better "small reference" than the NS-10's. NS-10's: familliar (maybe too), client-impressive? Opinions? Alternatives? Anybody know a good 4" that I could put in my Auratone cabs and end this whole debate? |
