Thread Starter | stand alone workstations - any good?
I'm now considering a Roland VS2480 or something similar, just for the all in one solution and to get away from the computer. Not much talk on these workstations, so I may be throwing a bone to the dogs so they can begin howling about how bad these are..... If you incorporate external AD/DA and use high end outboard, you should be able to get usuable or good recordings I'd imagine... or not? |

Definitely not the Rolands. Here are my takes on the issue, getting far better than "usable recordings" with the Akai DPS24: ![]() http://www.gearslutz.com/board/showthread.php3?t=42590 http://www.gearslutz.com/board/showthread.php3?t=33463 User forum here for more info: http://dpsworld.vibestudio.net/viewforum.php?f=1 Steve |
