Neumann M8 - any good?

I found it for less than $300, it is with cabling and tube pre. What can I expect?

The M8 capsule can be used on the CMV-563 and the 7151. Which tube body do you have there?

I was slow in the response, so he sold it to someone else, however it was that CMV body... and I was terrified by frequency response of M8 capsule, it is up to 8000Hz... not very much, I'm not well informed about figure eight mics, but it seems to be not very nice...
