Blue Encore 100

I just picked up the new Blue live mic, and it sounds great. For the price you can't go wrong. It has a good amount of presence, but you need to roll off the low just a little and it sounds rad. I highly recommend anyone to just go demo it.

The Encore 200 is also great, it has a much wider range and has a bigger sound. Both amazing, and they look like total audio bling.

Bump.

Anyone else have experience with the Blue Encore microphones?

I'm curious how the Blue Encore 200 is performing.

Blue Encore

I have a few of each 100 and 200

The 200 sounds almost the same as the 100 except with a bit more open top end and the hotter output.

I've had great results using the 100's on a snare @45 degrees and the 200's on congas.thumbsup

I use the 200 with my macbook pro and an apogee one and it sounds great!!! I wasn't sure if I was going to like it but at 4-5 inches it sounds like a $700 condenser studio mic...
