San Francisco Bay Area Mix engineers and rooms?

I've got some mix work coming up soon and I'd love to meet some new mix engineers that have an established track record and that are Gear Slutz! Anyways all of the music has been tracked with Protools HD in my studio but now for the mix I'd like to get it out of my control room and into a proper mixing room. I would prefer to run individual outs to a SSL or some other great sounding console. The music is Indie funk/rock and some urban electronic soul stuff (different projects). If any of you can point me in the right direction I'd really appreciate it.

I've never worked there, but if I was in the SF area I'd probably book my sessions at Tiny Telephone. http://www.tinytelephone.com/

If you can get past the distance thing and are comfortable working by FTP and phone calls, I have a mix suite in NJ with a Trident desk, Studer A80MkII R/C 2-track and 32+ outs (Motu) from the DAW.

All you need to make a record is a mic, some tape and maybe some bad reverb...

Thanks for the offer Jay but I'm producing these tracks and I want to at least keep it in my sights whilst it is being mixed. In fact I will probably be doing a bit of the mix work myself. But I recognize the usefullness of fresh ears and loads of professional mixing experience. I'd love to hear what you're doing though as well as some rates on long distance work. It sounds like you don't have Protools will that be an issue? You can PM if you want.

Try this place:

two 9000J series, tonnes of outboard gear, excellent vibe.

A second vote for tinytelephone.

Work with Jaimeson Durr- he has a ProTools rig and is great to work with.

PM me if you want details of my recent work there with Jaime.

Another vote for SFSoundworks. Great gear. Great people. Cool vibe.

I did the mixing myself, but Justin was a great 2nd (more than a 2nd, as I'm an ITB guy... so getting around on the SSL was thanks to him), and probably could've mixed it as well as I did.
