i have a v72 module un racked. came with pigtail I/O and Power. i can basicy plug a mic and record. thing is, it dosnt have any gain control, so although i can control it after the mc pre, through and leveling amp or comp or whatever, how can i control the input gain from the mic into the v72? thanks!

un modded like that you would be getting 34db of gain. You could get a tech to mod it for some control. I have a 3 way switch on mine, 24db (-10), 34(0), 49(+15). go here http://www.oliverarchut.com/
