Quite a few guitar forums listed at http://www.theprojectstudiohandbook.com/forums.htm

And there's something of an "all things guitar" page at http://www.theprojectstudiohandbook.com/guitars.htm

The Seymour Duncan forum is full of very knowledgable and nice guys and it has almost none of the negative things found on a lot of forums. Great place to chat about anything, not just pickups. Check it out! www.seymourduncan.com/forum

Can be a bit juvenile at times, but good info none the less.

The gear page is by far the best place imho......and it's very much like gearslutz, not too much ego bs and I've done many, many transactions with members with only one sour transaction.

What are you looking for exactly?

The Gear Page is good. It's a little like the guitar version of Gearslutz.

The Weber board is old school.

There's the FDP if you're into Fender, or the Les Paul forum if you're into Les Pauls.

There's TDPRI if you're into Teles.

Musictoyz forum for pedals.

Sometimes I go over to the Acoustic Guitar magazine forum to see if there's anything new for acoustic guitar amplification.

I go to the Gretsch Pages because I like Gretsch. Steelbender because I like Carr amps.

Sometimes I go to Harmony Central when I've had a few and I'm feeling juvenile.

One of the older forums is http://www.guitarsbyleo.com

It's devoted to G&L users. It started out as a fan site. The guy who started it realized there are more important things in life than online forums. So, he either gave it or sold it to G&L. If you're into Leo Fender and good guitars and some primo amps, then you'll probably enjoy it.

guitargeek.com is really cool -- just start a "80's JCM 800 vs. Line 6 Vetta II" topic (for the bazillionth time, of course!), and it'll be buzzing (no pun intended!) for days.

I actually kinda quit browsing that site because some of the kids (and adults) were proseletyzing the Line 6 stuff too much -- I mean, if you're a teenager, are you really gonna love ANYBODY's amp more than your own? The enthusiasm was understandable from that perspective.

Of course, there are a lot of people who call mp3's "CD quality." And since when do the words "CD" and "quality" go together, anyway?
