Is there such thing as a USB rackmount sound module?

I want to get the Akai LPK25 midi-usb controller when it comes out for stage use, but it is only Usb powered. Is there such a thing as a rackmount usb sound module I could use for this controller? I don't want to bring a laptop to gigs just to make some sounds. Any help is greatly appreciated.
thanks
