Mono Or stereo & Mono bnces from Reason?

Hi guys sorry me again, a you can see a lot of questions these days, im starting to realize alot of my mistakes, which is a good thing right? At least i think i am. haha. Ok So sometimes when making my my tracks i start by opening reason and making a beat using redrum to get my main loop, then i bounce all the files out separately, as stereo trakcks, they should be mono right? How do i bounce them out as mono? I feel like i know my drums hits should all be on mono tracks. As well as bass. How do you do mono bounces from reason? thanks

You have to rewire to a host like cubase or Tools, then bounce through that, choosing mono export. I used to wonder why they didn't give you a mono option, then I saw they had made their 'Record' program.

record program? No i just been boucning straight out of reaosn to a folder then i import into nuendo. If theres no mono option i might just use kontakt from now on its just handy to make quick loops in redrum.

but honestly though if the track is bounced as stereo does it not make any diffrence i always thought a kick should be mono, then when ur usuing ur mono plugins or put the streo on a mono track im confused.

Reason only bounces stereo .wav/.aif to disk.

Logic has a gain plug with a mono button for those types of tracks. Sucks that you still have the stereo file taking up space/bandwidth, though

yea thats a weak thing on reasons part. thats bs, because when i bounce some percussion i lke to pan it in my mix not when i bounce it from reason. And when its stereo it doesnt pan properly.
