D&R consoles, or something else?

Hi guys!

I'm kind of in the market right now for an analog console. I want it to have about 24 faders and for the rest I'm open for suggestions, since it'll be the first console I'm going to buy. Currently, I'm all ITB but I want to get some feeling and control to my mixes. I don't like control surfaces. :-)

So, basically I already have some options. I can get:

D&R ST1600 24 channel for about 300 euro's. This one needs some love and care, since the power supply isn't what it used to be, and some pot meters need to be replaced. Maybe not the best option to go for.

D&R Dayner 32 channel. Seems to be in good condition. Can get this one for 600 euro's.

D&R 900 24/8/2. Also seems to be in good condition. Can get this one for 250.

I figured D&R is the one to go for since I'm in Holland and D&R is as well, so if I want to get parts it's supposed to be easier. But I'm also open for other suggestions.

For example:
Hill Remix 24-8-16-2 which I can get pretty cheap as well. Faders seem not to be in the best condition.

Mitec Performer 32 for 600, but the power supply is missing.

So, any tips or suggestions? I also need a lot of digital I/O to connect with my DAW, any suggestions? I'm pretty new to the console market thing (born in the ITB-nineties), so please have mercy on me

Thanks in advance!

Bless,
Ben

I don't think you can go wrong with D&R if it's in good price/working condition. ( especially if you can DIY tech stuff)..Good luck...

**** 600 for the Dayner - it's not my most favorite D&R but it's certainly a great console (I prefer the Orion - dunno why)
