Massey DTM, WTF??

Ok,

I'm feeling pretty thick right now, but how in the hell can I get this thing to create the MIDI track in the actual tempo of the drums it's triggering from??

Every time I create the MIDI file and drag it to a MIDI track, it is SIGNIFICANTLY faster than the drum it was generated from.

I'm sure this is user error, please help a brotha out......

What DAW are you importing to? Most of time a program will default to changing the tempo of a midi file to the tempo of the project you're importing it into. You can sometimes import the tempo from the midi file or just change the tempo of the project you importing the midi file to.

are you exporting and loading in the midifile from the session, to give it the tempo? Are you following the workflow from the website?

Hmmmm.....probably not. LOL

I'm not in front of it right now, but I'll have a look.

I'm working at the right tempo in PT, so I just assumed that dragging and dropping the midi file from the window would retain the tempo, since it's correct in the session.

Thanks man, I'll keep plugging away....
