Motu Converter Comparison

I have an HD192 modified by Blacklion and clocked on their microclock. I am looking into purchasing either a 24i/o or a 2408 mkIII to expand my # of inputs. My question is - aside from the other differences - is there much of a difference in converter quality between the two units. I know 24i/o is 128x and 2408 is 64x but wonder how that translates sonically. Also, is there much quality difference between those two and the HD192 - aside from the higher sample rate? All the units would be run off my external clock so their internal clock quality is probably less of an issue.

2nd question: If I eventually get a higher-quality converter would the 2408 help integrate it into my system? Would I be able to to record simultaneously off the analog inputs on my hd192 and through the new high-end converter via the 2408's digital i/o?

I have 192 [ not BLModded ] and 24i/o mk3 and 2408mk3 clocked to a big ben.

no there's not a great deal in it, very slight difference although having said that it actually helps to put stuff through different units if you want it to cut through when mixing.
