Thread Starter | question about peluso matched mics so i know there are a few threads on this topic. matched pairs important or not? some companies more consistent than others? I want to eventually get a pair of Peluso cemc6s. I want to record piano, acoustic guitars, drum overheads. etc. Does anyone know if Peluso mics are consistent as for sounding the same? I'll buy the matched pair if its that important but my wallet says only one for now. thanks and sorry for another thread on an already talked about subject. |

| Gear addict | $293 for a single CEMC6, or $650 per pair ($325 each). I would say go ahead and spring for the matched pair, it's just not that much more. I have a matched pair and cannot tell them apart on sound. I have never heard an unmatched pair, so I can't help there. The mics I have sound like the clips I hear online, FWIW. |
