Surrounded at The Library!

Ex Assistant William Spong (touching desk) now freelance and in the last year of his sound recording degree at university and my current assistant Tom Stubbs (holding SPL meter) calibrating a hired in genelec 1031A + Sub system at The Library (my studio)

William is mixing a demo he recorded of Toms band in 5.1 over the next 2 days for his final degree work entry.

Pro tools Mix + has a built in 5.1 panning option on its mixer and the ProControl monitor outs can be configured to operate as a 'one knob' volume control for 5.1... (you lose use of the alt monitors in this set up)

Looks like a weird episode of Star Trek- Starship Enterprise as a submarine back to the future 1823...

Yeah, shouldn't there be a whale floating past the control room window?

Hey Bevvy

Can you morph that bald chap in the right monitor to look a little bit more like the REAL captain?

...the avatar is not far off already.

Now decking the studio out in Star Trek gear would be great a Pair of spock ears will probably do more harm. I would like the comic book guy from the simpsons
I could always leave the Control24 on vegas mode permantly....

That's the funniest thing I've ever seen.

I'm taking the rest of the day off, cuz there's just no point.
