| Gearslutz.com admin | Surrounded at The Library!
Ex Assistant William Spong (touching desk) now freelance and in the last year of his sound recording degree at university and my current assistant Tom Stubbs (holding SPL meter) calibrating a hired in genelec 1031A + Sub system at The Library (my studio) William is mixing a demo he recorded of Toms band in 5.1 over the next 2 days for his final degree work entry. Pro tools Mix + has a built in 5.1 panning option on its mixer and the ProControl monitor outs can be configured to operate as a 'one knob' volume control for 5.1... (you lose use of the alt monitors in this set up)

Now decking the studio out in Star Trek gear would be great a Pair of spock ears will probably do more harm. I would like the comic book guy from the simpsonsI could always leave the Control24 on vegas mode permantly.... |
