Thread Starter | crossing AC adaptors and instrument cables
Hey all, So I'm building my project studio in my new apartement. I remembered hearing somewhere that all your AC electric cords have to cross any 1/4" or XLR cables at 90 degrees to eliminate hum. Is this true? If so, how would I accomplish such a task when I have wires running from all different places of the studio all of various lengths. Do you need to bundle all of the AC wires and all of the 1/4"/XLR cables and then cross them once? If so, I'll have to buy much longer cables. Thanks.
