ALERT: New stereobuss weapon

This is a prototype...however; it sounds suspiciously identical to an SSL buscomp.....

Hey, Torsten, where did you source the knobs? They look Manley-ish.

Thanks!

Cool..!

With the ROHS-directive coming up (the EU prohibiting nearly all the substances that will make electronics hold together) - this is a great idea. Military stuff is excluded from the general ban...

I guess the "Red Alert" mode is the Gustav-mod for over-funky release timing?

It IS Manley. I have a bunch of them lying around since I pulled of the old faceplate and knobs off my MasPas to install the gold faceplate with chromeknobs

Yes, of course, I thougt, that would be clear for everyone. I really like the look of one big Meter in the middle
My SSL Clone has a built in switchable sidechain, with the positions Off, 60, 90, 130, 200 and external. This comes in very handy, specially on the drumsub !

I thought of doing that, but I don't have the technical skills to figure it out myself. Dare I ask how you did this?

I don't have the technical skills either, so I have to ask my technician, who built it for me. I send him a mail.

Sounds very good, but I did never a one on one comparison to a real SSL. What I'm looking for is this typical Alan Smart Smack/Grab/Spank (however you call it), what you get with only a tiny bit of compression. And he does it so gooooood
I only use it for this purpose.

That's the best part. I will never think of compression in the same way a-gain.

What company designed and built that gear, and where can it be bought from? That stuff looks amazing.
