The Clash - should I stay or should I go

I love the farty bass in this and I'm sure someone knows the setup. Please let me know anything you know about this recording. I even like the the cheesy snare reverb - what is that?

Everything has its place in there. I don't think I'd ever mix a song to sound this way given the same tracks, but I'm enjoying it. I would love to get that bass tone or similar though.

I feel like maybe I got something similar 10 years ago with a P Bass into a Kustom amp, but curious what's up here.
