Sweetwater........never again. They have a nice catalog for sure, paid for by
hard working musicians like us.Stick with the small guys around here like Tony,Mercenary....if they don't have it look somewhere other than Sweetwater.I don't want to get into it here,I have my reasons-I'm sure others might chime in and suggest their favorite.I have been buying gear for 20 years and some places just leave a bad taste.

Well I never actually buy anything from them. I just love to look at the catologue. I buy used or from GC when they offer 12 months no payments no interest.

Sweetwater tends to lead to mental masturbation! HAHA

I am guilty of spending and hour on their website pretending I have no limitations for funding and shopping for the rig of my dreams.

shopping cart with a total of say 50k = my form of internet porn

I am German, so I always have my Music Store Cologne catalog lying around to reach for in the bath room. I read everything except for the lighting and brass sections... I make sure that my other bathroom is always stocked with the latest Thomann newsletter.
EDIT: Thomann and Music Store are major gear stores in Germany.

Do tell. I've only bought one item from them and it was a descent experience.
Obviously their prices are nothing to write home about....so what happened?
