ARP Odyssey help

Hey everybody, I turned my Odyssey on today and every note I play sustains until I shut it off. When I turn it back on, it starts playing again on it's own without me touching a key. I've checked all the settings and there is no way to turn off the sample & hold.
Anyone have any idea what would cause this? I'll probably have to get it repaired, but I thought I'd ask first on the off chance I can fix it myself.

Thanks

I have one myself - my first synth (white face) - never power it on, but when I want that sound... I use this...

GForce Software

have used this as well, but it seems to be gone.

If the same note continues to play it's probably just a J-wire stuck under the buss bar. Depending on the model it may have a plastic cover on the bottom of the unit that exposes the buss bars. Take off the cover and you would be able to see if a J-wire is stuck under the bar - gently bend it sidewyas until it clears the bar. I belieive on the older (I and II) you need to remove the screws on the side of the keyboard and hinge the whole thing up to access the buss bars. I've owned all 3 at one time and can't remember which one worked which way.

If that's not the problem there are a couple other things to check.

Toggle all the ADSR/AR switches a few times to make sure they aren't hung-up.
Same withe the Repeat and Gate switches.
Make sure the VCA Gain is turned down.
I also seem to remember there was a transistor (or something similar) that controlled the gate voltage for ADSR. It's possible it fried shut.

I don't think it involves the S&H, but I could be wrong.
