Alesis Fusion 6HD/8HD Workstations!!

It's official..This keyboard workstation is total crap!! the on-board sound set is not even in the class of a good Casio keyboard..

Like other, I was waiting to get one, seeing that it has an on-board 8 track audio recorder. However, i think Alesis rushed this thing to market.. too bad..

OH YEAH???

When it first released I would agree 100%. BUT... after Alesis worked on her... Well all I can say is LISTEN To The Fusion NOW with it's 1.22 OS, New Sounds, and Hollow Suns Samples!

AWESOME!

And with the price drop... nothing can touch it (IMHO)
I just picked up the 8HD for $1,206 (floor model) and as a pianist for over 25 years, the action ROCKS (IMHO). At first I thought it felt too light, but after playing on it I LOVE it!

Here are some cool demos!

Make sure you listen to these:

FLC Vintage. by Paul van de Valk

TerminalWave.mp3- A short and simple showcase of some of the detailed classic PPG sounds contained in the Hollow Sun collections accompanied by a Simmons kit appropriate to the era

hs_fusion_demo2.mp3 A simple segue of some of the sounds played in isolation from the HS banks

New_Age_Romantix.mp3- Atmospheric intro leading to a very 'retro' 80s construction of Fairlight, PPG, Tron and other sounds

ambient_fusion.mp3- A dreamy, floating ambient 'spacescape'
