Thread Starter | HEDD 192 & Summing Question I know the HEDD 192 has it's own mojo to give you that analog tape sound, but is there anyone who uses the HEDD 192 with a Summing device like the D-Box to get more of the sound you're looking for? Jamie |

| Just cant get enough HEDD I strap the HEDD across the stereo bus of a Neve 8816, that way I can get some HEDD when tracking as well as give some HEDD when summing and flying solo. Like a red HEDD, this baby likes some foreplay before she really gets down and dirty, try sticking it IN and OUT or just play with the DIGITAL a bit to warm up that phat bottom, not to gush but she gets hot real quick. S/PDIF things get a little crazy I TAPE her up on mute and hit the reset button to TRIODE bring the level down. She likes to do ANAlog, so I slipped in my HEDD on the insert / return for the first time last night, and discovered it wasnt good to mix the two, sure it felt unnatural at first but you get used to it, kind of warm and tight but not as wet, just thinking outside the box. I got my brown wings though and wanted to share the technique. After many a good session with my bell end I SAMPLE RATE her as a ten, hows that for mojo? Quote:
